David
David is currently a sophomore at Bryn Athyn College working towards an I.D. major in Religion and Psychology and plans too continue on into Theological School. He also works as a Resident Assistant in a high school boys dormitory at the Academy of the New Church.
Lori
Lori is Director of Marriage Programs for the Bryn Athyn Church. She and her husband of thirty years have nine children. Lori loves finding ways to support people in marriage, parenting and spirituality. You can find more examples of her storytelling at Caring for Marriage.
Megan
Megan is about to graduate with a double Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology and Sociology from Montana State University. Her plan is to pursue a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Resolution or Sociology with a focus on gender inequalities in developing countries. Megan recently got back from her second stint working in the Western Province on Kenya as a project manger with Engineers without Borders. Megan’s motto is from True Christian Religion 406 “Man is not born for the sake of himself but for the sake of others.”
Nicola
Nicola lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, two children, dog Jackson and Baga the rabbit. She strives to be present with her children as well as balance all the other demands a homemaker has. Her hobbies include gardening, sewing, reading and playing with her children. She enjoys the outdoors as they inspire her to remember the Lord and all his magnanimity.
Rachel
Rachel is a fourth-generation Coloradan who has spent almost all of her life in Colorado. Her lifelong love of Europe led her to live for a few years in France and to travel extensively throughout the continent. She is a sometime French teacher and an all-the-time gardener, cook, and writer. A student of history and yoga, she spends her time raising boys, gazing at the stars, and engaging in political and environmental activism. Rachel lives in Lafayette, Colorado with her husband and two sons, and attends the New Church of Boulder Valley.
Solomon
(Marriage Materials)
Solomon is a 2nd year theological school student at the Academy of the New Church Theological School. He is married to his wife Tirah, and they have four children. Solomon is also a musician, and has produced several albums of his solo piano music. Solomon and Tirah have enjoyed leading marriage support groups in their spare time.
